@tom It's probably normal afterall since the voxl-vision-hub service's config file contains a parameter "reset PX4 on error". I set it to "false" and now this behaviour disappeared.

I updated to the beta 1.5.3 image and this camera now works with it on its own. Thanks!

@Chad-Sweet Thank you for the guide. Noted that the workaround to get decent video quality is to increase the bitrate - 3Mbps (h/w encoding) gives comparable quality to 1Mbps (s/w encoding). Hope that the upcoming fix could overcome this problem (using encoded source from qmmf?). Looking forward to it. Thanks

@Nicolas-Ethan-Blanchard I also re-loaded PX4 parameters from the provided file in the GitLab, so that could have helped as well. Although, I do think that the IMU orientation parameter was set correctly initially, because it matched the parameter in the working drone.

@modaltb, thanks for the follow up. it ended up being a driver issue. I am not doing any kernel changes. I am using the Sentinel and it was not purchased with the wifi module or cabling. I have an assortment of the wifi usb adapters, using one of the older ones (AWUS036NHV) worked.

I apologize for the delay in responding. It seems like your suggestion seems to do what we want. Unfortunately it seems that I am unable to shut down the network interface on eth0. I get an error when I try to set the MAC address that the resource is busy. Are there any subroutines or other services that would keep the interface from being shut down?

No, it is not the latest. It's a few months of work on our end to update the SDK. We may try it later this year, but no formal plans to do so

Yes it is much easier to record in HD without taking a hit to framerate. You can use voxl-streamer to throttle the dimensions higher however, I wouldn't advise this for right now

@IChen, at the moment, we don't have prop guards. There does seem to be products available on the market that would work with the S500 frame. You could 3D print some if the ones out in the market are not up to your spec. I noticed you're looking for an indoor specific drone. Have you looked at the Seeker? That platform is more suitable specifically for indoors. FYI, we are developing a smaller drone platform called the Starling, smaller than the Seeker and designed for indoor navigation and development. Hope that helps
