Thanks for the replies. The use case is low-bandwidth, short range communication to the VOXL using low-energy devices, which only have BLE.

this usually means one of the following: camera configuration does not match what is installed. the configuration needs to match what is installed, not what you want to use a connector is not properly seated a connector is backwards

It's possible that the lens has been knocked out of focus. See @Dobry-Kolacz 's write-up here on addressing that issue: https://forum.modalai.com/topic/1362/sentinel-stereo-camera-calibration-inconsistency/4?_=1674364904154 "To adjust the focus on our stereo cameras twist the lens housing clockwise or counterclockwise similarly to how you would on a DSLR lens. Look closely at the stereo cams and you will see 4 flat edges. I recommend using a 6mm wrench to engage 2 of the flat edges; from there you'll be able to rotate and adjust the lens as needed. It is possible to use something like tweezers or small pliers to accomplish this however I recommend against that method because it is too easy for the tool to slip off and end up scratching the lens. To clean the lens I recommend using a clean microfiber cloth, a lens tissue, or a fresh q-tip"

LuxF7HD is a betaflight flight controller. https://rpg.ifi.uzh.ch/docs/IROS18_Falanga.pdf developers from the university at zurich were able to bridge the betaflight controller to the onboard computer. we think we have the wiring portion done, but we need to somehow send the parameters changes from the voxl to the betaflight controller via a serial port. we are using serial port j10012 currently. please let us if you have any ideas on how to bridge the two

I have done a first flight using a controller and the drone is responding fine. I wanted to use Motion capture to provide the Pose data, is there a way to do this on the VOXL?

It sounds like QGC is buffering, have you reached out to the QGC team? The VOXL is a Linux device with standard Linux networking. You should be able to use standard Linux routing techniques to route your IP traffic

@yhcho61 If you're asking where to plug in the antennas to the Voxl-Cam, then most times the Voxl-Cam has extensions from which to attach the LTE antennas to. If it didn't, you would just need to take the backpack off and thread the antenna through the slot of the backpack and plug them in to the modem. Reattach the backpack and then initialize the modem to use it.

Hi, What software version are you running? This was an issue we saw commonly on some of our older software versions but fixed in our release of SDK 0.7 with the addition of a new exposure algorithm. You can check the software version on the drone by running voxl-version.

Hmm, it looks like none of those options are available to our configuration, so we will have to stick with USB through the 4G carrier. I've found that the Pixhawk is rebooting now (not sure if something changed, or if I'm going crazy) but voxl-mavlink-server fails, and continues to fail if I systemctl restart voxl-mavlink-server so I have to reboot the voxl2 with every Pixhawk reboot. Not that big of a deal. Has the bug been fixed where sudo reboot takes a couple of minutes to actually reboot the VOXL2? Each time I want to reboot the Pixhawk it's about a 5 minute process

@Hammas-Ali Yes, those would all be great features but we have not implemented them at this time. However, we may be able to provide guidance on the streaming re-connection issue. I'll ask some of our team members to take a look.

@amitga Yes you can. That code shouldn't be there since it prevents the exact use case that you are trying to run.
