OK got it. If it's not showing up via lsusb, typically we would solve that by rebuilding our open source public facing kernel with some new USB ids (we even give a docker container that is ready to build the kernel) along with instructions on how to safely test the kernel before flashing it. VOXL 2 uses apt, and not opkt. Check out the docs here: https://docs.modalai.com/voxl2-platform-release/ You should just need to run apt update apt upgrade

Thank you. I could not get video from the uvc device over voxl-streamer, though I could access the test video and the stereo cameras/anything plugged into the MIPI ports. I've had a problem with the newer UVC-server program. I need to check my notes it was a few weeks ago but somehow it wasn't working so I fell back on the ffmpeg due to time limits with the intent of going back to the UVC server application as it's a better solution. I will post a specific issue after looking it over again.

We got maybe 1/10 mile in an urban setting, and have had reliability issues. We placed the antennae as far away from power and more than 2.6" from each other on both transmitter and drone. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thank you.

So it sounds like Dan bought the wrong cameras

We confirmed that the PWM is cutting off at the same time, so it's possibly an initial velocity difference thing, unless you guys have other thoughts.

That is largely dependent on your drone, sensors, and how well they are calibrated and integrated. Our reference drones can map fairly well with stereo image sensors in an outdoor environment, but they are setup with the source code for our customers to modify for their end application. You can check out voxl-mapper source code here. We are frequently updating it and making improvements. A specific metric is tough as there are so many variables.

This sounds like a Linux networking issue. We don't have any experience doing what you are trying to achieve. VOXL runs Linux though. You'll likely have to set up the Linux networking to handle your usecase. It might be easier to try to get what you are attempting to do working on a Linux desktop and replicate those settings on VOXL

So you either need a diffuse light source that can illuminate features or some other low-light sensor that you would need to integrate with QVIO.

@Djalma-Ribeiro You can create a systemd service file and enable it to run on boot and have it execute the OpenVPN connection command. Here is an example on how we have used it in the past on a VOXL: [Unit] After=voxl-time-sync.service Requires=voxl-time-sync.service [Service] Type=forking ExecStartPre=/bin/sleep 2 ExecStart=/usr/sbin/openvpn --script-security 2 --daemon --config /etc/openvpn/KEY_FILE [Install] WantedBy=default.target Won't be exactly the same as above but that's the general idea.

I had the same issue. Updating the voxl_mpa_to_ros package resolved it for me: opkg update opkg install voxl-nodes
