I'm trying to force my voxl flight into fast boot but every attempt leads to waiting for the device for over half an hour without any success.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

@Jayden-Smith It looks like you were successful in forcing it into fastboot. It is now waiting for it to boot back to adb which it won't be able to do if the fastboot switch is still on.

At this point I would remove power and usb, turn off the switch, and re-connect power and usb

@tom Alright, thanks. It hasn't changed yet. At this point what should I expect?

@tom This is what I see with lsusb. The Voxl shows up as Qualcomm. Inc.

@Jayden-Smith Can you post a picture of your setup including any switches you have set?

@Jayden-Smith Can you try removing the add-on board and see if the board boots into the same mode when queried via. lsusb?

@Jayden-Smith The mode that it is booting into is called "EDL" (Emergency Download Mode) and unfortunately the only way to recover the board is using a tool that requires a special license from Qualcomm. The best path forward will be for you to submit an RMA for this board: https://www.modalai.com/pages/rma

                          Hi @Jayden-Smith
Please do not power on any circuits board while they are in or on an ESD bag.
Doing so can cause permanent damage.
                          Thanks
