@Alex-Gardner I installed the 0.8 on the voxl, and mow I'm trying to configure the voxl flight deck for a new drone, but it seems to not work at all. I chose the frame type and once applying the modification, the system restart as normal. Once restarted, it ask again to chose the frame type, it doesn't keep the previous settings.

Have you any idea what can be?

@mirasul This is most likely a hardware issue in which the WiFi chip on the VOXL has either failed or the solder connection between it and the board has failed.

@m1baldwin I think things will work as you expect if you first run voxl-send_command hires stop_ae. You may also need an update to the voxl-camera-server code, refer to this post.

@JP-Drone In my case, I was using the rb5 so the correct service was voxl-px4-imu-server, which was already running. The qvio, vison-px4 takes imu from imu_px4 not imu0. This is specific for the rb5.

I have done a first flight using a controller and the drone is responding fine. I wanted to use Motion capture to provide the Pose data, is there a way to do this on the VOXL?

LuxF7HD is a betaflight flight controller. https://rpg.ifi.uzh.ch/docs/IROS18_Falanga.pdf developers from the university at zurich were able to bridge the betaflight controller to the onboard computer. we think we have the wiring portion done, but we need to somehow send the parameters changes from the voxl to the betaflight controller via a serial port. we are using serial port j10012 currently. please let us if you have any ideas on how to bridge the two

Note, voxl-record-video is not documented, finished, or released yet. It's dependent on an internal version of voxl-camera-server that's not been released yet. You can expect this feature in the next SDK release (1.0).

Looks like the foam did the trick. No amount of tuning was able to stabilize the oscillations. The only issue with adding the foam was the FC reported "High Accelerometer Bias" which I was able to circumvent by loosening the tolerance by changing the COM_ARM_EKF_AB parameter. After all of that, the vehicle was rock steady

@Eric-Katzfey and @Vinny thank you for response, ive checked with the oscilloscope and it appears i am receiving signal. as for the wiring diagram, i have wrote it incorrectly. i went back and double checked and you are correct Mr.Vinny, i did, somehow still wire it correctly, but have not received frames. i think its best to move on the purethermal mini that was suggested. thank you all for your guidance, will update soon
