VOXL Wifi Connection
-
Hello! I am having some issues trying to connect both wifi and 5G Connector.
Either way I have issues getting any network connection.
I tried all the documentations from the site but still have not success. I am getting kinda frustrated at this.
I will attach a picture of both wifi and 5G Connector images + What images that I get after connecting voxl.
Kindly asking for help. Thank you

@Paola-Lim Your SDK is quite old at this point so I would suggest flashing the latest (1.1.3).
See here for voxl-wifi usage:
4.1 VOXL 2 WiFi
ModalAI technical documentation for VOXL and VOXL 2 Companion Computers for PX4 and ArduPilot Obstacle Avoidance and GPS-denied navigation, assembled in the USA

HI @Paola-Lim
Please also provide some physical separation between your two WWAN antennas. When they are that close to each other, they will detune.
Also make sure they are not sitting up directly against any conductive material such as carbon frames or batteries. Some type of dielectric spacer is required to adhere them to most surfaces.
You can easily google search the 3M antenna part number with a phrase like "guidelines" to get further input direct from 3M for those specific bands. -

@tom Is the "voxl-suite: 1.0.0" the SDK?
https://docs.modalai.com/flash-system-image/ <- This is how you upgrade the SDK? Just would like to confirm so I can upgrade it first.
Thank youYou will need to follow directions from this page : https://docs.modalai.com/flash-system-image/#flashing-a-voxl-sdk-release
Tom suggested getting the SDK 1.1.3, so per instructions you should go to
https://developer.modalai.com, log in, then click onProtected Downloads->VOXL2 Platform Releasesand downloadVOXL2 SDK 1.1.3and follow the rest of instructions from "flashing voxl sdk" pageAlex
