    Cannot find device "wlan0"

      hi,

      This has been working just find for weeks, today I an getting the following message:

      voxl2:/$ voxl-wifi station <<id>> <<password>>
      Cannot find device "wlan0"
      Device "wlan0" does not exist.
      Cannot find device "wlan0"

      How do I fix this? I checked all the connections and also rebooted coupble oof time.Intenet is working ok also.

        @suvasis What hardware do you have connected to your VOXL2?

        What do you see with ifconfig and lsusb?

        What do you mean by internet is working? Internet on VOXL2? Or your network in general?

          i meant general home internet is working ok.

          I disconnected and reconnected the voxl2, it started working
          wlan0 shows up now.

            seeing similar issues with wlan0, connected alfa wifi adapter and seeing under usb-devices but the driver is not attached to it. Drivers are in /lib/modules/4.19.125/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/88XXau.ko

              @JustinDev23 out of curiosity are you rebuilding the kernel? I myself saw this recently when I had a custom kernel, and wondering if that's the path you're down currently.

                @modaltb, thanks for the follow up. it ended up being a driver issue. I am not doing any kernel changes.

                I am using the Sentinel and it was not purchased with the wifi module or cabling. I have an assortment of the wifi usb adapters, using one of the older ones (AWUS036NHV) worked.
