    Hi,
    I was wondering where to find documentation for connecting the LTE v2 modem to a raspberry pi 4. I'm looking for pin connections as well as a guide for configuring. I am running ubuntu 20.04 on the Rpi currently.

      @Henry-Cappel See script here: https://gitlab.com/voxl-public/voxl-sdk/utilities/voxl-modem/-/blob/master/scripts/sierra-rpi-setup.sh

      Pinouts are here: https://docs.modalai.com/lte-modem-v2-dongle-datasheet/#raspberrypi-4

          @tom One tip, One question. Tip: The link to this script is dead on the LTE dongle datasheet page. It points to a utilities folder that doesn't exist. Question: I have the daughterboard connector version of the Modem/USB board that's plugged into my Voxl. If I remove it from the Voxl and power it using the empty pads on the bottom where the 5v power connector goes on the dongle version, will the empty pads on the top where the upstream USB connector goes on the dongle version then work as my upstream connection to a Pi? Asking for a friend...

            @Bulldog357 Thanks, I've updated the link in our docs.
            If you're talking about pulling off the add-on version and attempting to connect to the pins on the connector externally I think we'd advise not to do that and I'm not sure it would work. @Vinny can provide better guidance than I.

                Hi @Bulldog357
                It's a bit more complex than that... Many parts are different including how we route power and the host USB bus. If you try it without the detailed knowledge, exact BOM parts, and a qualified rework station, you will end up spending more time (which is $$) than just buying a board from us, and your board will probably not work again in either scenario. Just my 2-cents 🙂
                We do not offer any "transformation from -> to " guidance on any of our standalone vs Voxl boards exactly because of that. It's also expensive in our time to try to document it as such, and we know it's 95%+ likely to fail... even if you had the BOM items.
                Hope that helps temper your expectations on that one.... sorry.

                  @Vinny Thanks Vinny! Just trying to maximize the versitility of my investments! Same way you guys do when you use the same board for both products! I'll leave it alone...
