How to add 2nd USB port to VOXL-1?
-
Our configuration of the Voxl-Flight-Deck will (in some configurations) need to support two plug-in USB devices. As best I can tell, the only adapter board that supports this is the modem-addon. The case that forces us down the path of 2 plug-in devices is when we need to use a USB LTE modem; hence, we won't be using the modem-addon.
Any thoughts on how to do that (without custom hardware)? -

@Eric-Katzfey We need to support an LTE band that (as luck would have it) is not supported by any of the modems that are compatible with your add-on card.
@Ed-Sutter Oh, got it. Okay so one USB for external LTE modem and another for external camera. You can still use our LTE modem board but just don't put an LTE modem in the socket.

You can purchase without a modem, it's a little cheaper and then just serves as a hub https://www.modalai.com/products/voxl-lte?variant=39300535681075
