Datasheet for VOXL2 Ethernet expansion and USB Hub addon
-
We are in need of VOXL2 Ethernet expansion and USB Hub add-on to integrate with Flir Boson camera. We need data sheet of the product. In the technical docs page, it's not available.

Hi @Jetson-Nano
That is considered a beta product in its current form and not broadly available, hence documentation is sparse/not available. We have considered making an improved and current version of this design for public use, so if you have any feedback or suggestions/requirements, we'll gladly consider it for our future design efforts.
Thanks! -

Thanks!@Vinny Hey Vinny,
At the very least if you could tell us what connectors are on-board and which pheripherial are exposed [such as USB, UART, Ethernet port is seen] and where it is connected on the voxl 2 [like /dev/tthy4 ] it would be very helpful. Without these even making suggestions for improvements would be difficult.

HI @Jetson-Nano
The board is similar to the M0090 5G Modem board in the following ways:- Plugs into VOXL 2 via J3&J5
- Exposes a UART+I2C JST and an SPI JST
- Uses the same USB hub, and exposes 3 USB Downstream ports, with one being a direct Type-A host port, the other 2 being our JST formats.
Where it is different from the 5G modem is we add a USB to ETH bridge, and expose a full RJ45 jack with Gb speeds (but limited to a USB2 backhaul)
We also have an SD/UFS card slot for memory expansion.
And we do not support the PCIe interface for modems... the RJ45 takes up that space.I do not know how they enumerate with the OS, I am not on the SW team. Sorry I cannot help there.

Any of our USB expansion boards should work with VOXL 2 and Boson, you don't need this specific board
