@Eric-Katzfey , we noticed this while preparing for a flight, i.e., just spinning each of the motors/props by hand. After having it catch we did not feel comfortable flying it. The last time we flew the drone was months ago and I don't have a Px4 log from that flight.

We've noticed on our Starling 2 Max that one of the motors feels like it catches/seizes, i.e. while spinning it by hand it will spin smoothly, but then will sometimes grab/seize and require force to make it continue to spin. The UAS has not crashed and we do not see any debris in the motor. Is this typical and/or safe, or should we replace the motor (2203.5 KV1500)? We assume the latter, in which case do you sell the motor, and can you give us a SKU/cost? I don't see it listed on your web-site.

Is it possible to procure and plug in a FLIR Lepton 3.5 sensor into the Starling 2 Max as sold? I was told that there were potential SW issues, but it should work. One of the pictures on the Starling 2 Max product page suggests that this would only be supported on the C29 SKU/config; however, I only have C28 configs. Can you confirm that this will or will not work on the Starling 2 Max C28 config? On the Starling 2 Max product page, it notes the following: "there are performance issues with GPS on the current iteration of this design, an updated GPS is in development."

Do you know when this issue will be resolved? Will it be possible to retrofit any drones purchased in the mean-time?

@Eric-Katzfey , @MikeD and I were able to resolve the issue by swapping pins 2 and 3 on the MCBL-00091.

We found the following post on the forum: https://forum.modalai.com/topic/3511/serial-port-closed-and-other-hitl-errors. One of the posts notes that in order to use the MCBL-00091, pins 2 and 3 need to be swapped. This appears to be documented here: https://docs.modalai.com/cable-userguides/#m0163-4-pin-jst-to-4-pin-jst-cross-over-example.
