Image streamer

Hello,

We recently got the VOXL flight deck. And we are in the process of setting up everything. Currently, we are stuck in this issue where we are trying to stream the image using Stream with voxl-image-streamer. And we are continously getting segmentation fault error and also we are unable to run the python image viewer script. It just opens a GUI with a black screen. I have attached the images for your reference. I have followed the steps prior to this to set up everything. Could you please let me know any possible solution to this? Thanks.

Are you OK with using a different client to view the data?

That set of tools is near deprecation.

voxl-rstp along with something like VLC works nicely for viewing and is found here: https://docs.modalai.com/voxl-rtsp/

Thank you @modaltb for your suggestion. I did try the rstp solution and it seemed to work for camera mode 0 (high res) and camera mode 2(tracking camera), but for for stereo camera, I'm getting this error (attached the picture).

Hi @gauravshukla914,

If voxl-vision-px4 is setup for VOA it will connect to the stereo and 'take over', if that's the case can you try the following before launching?

systemctl stop voxl-vision-px4

FYI for the future, the MPA architecture (https://gitlab.com/voxl-public/modal-pipe-architecture) will provide 'fan out' and allow multiple clients for a given camera.
