QRB5165M vs QSM8250
-
Hello, I noticed the 2 hardware versions here: https://docs.modalai.com/m0054-versions/
- Is there a difference for the end user between QRB5165M vs QSM8250
- Is ModalAI switching over to ONLY using QSM8250

@wilkinsaf The M0054-2 uses the QSM8250, but that is not sold in dev kit form. It only supports up to 4 image sensors concurrently, instead of the typical 7. The M0054-2 is frequently found on Starling as it only has 3 image sensors

Noting here that flashing the wrong kernel will brick the device (ie flashing the QRB on the QSM) make sure to select the correct option when upgrading the board.
