      I ordered the starling+battery combination without the transmitter. What are the compatible transmitters I can purchase? Also is the elrs receiver also installed in the starling+battery combination or do I need to install that too? I also noticed the Xbox type transmitter being supplied with starling do I need to order that only or are there any other compatible transmitter that pairs with the current configuration? Like a frsky taranis or dx6?

          @Darshit-Desai Starling will ship with an ELRS receiver installed. The controller package includes a Commando 8 transmitter

            @tom So for instance I didn't buy the transmitter initially. Where can I buy it from?

            From the name you suggested, I found this link, is this the one I should buy if I didn't buy the transmitter initially from Modal AI https://www.getfpv.com/iflight-commando-8-radio-transmitter.html

              @Darshit-Desai Yes getfpv is a very reputable source.

              As seen here: https://docs.modalai.com/starling-v2-hardware-overview/#development-kit-contents

              you'll want the 915 MHz option

                @tom The transmitter is supposed to be in Mode 2 right? If I want to buy other parts like the propellers or batteries as spare where do I buy it from?

                  @Darshit-Desai batteries -> https://www.modalai.com/products/3000mah-2s-7-4v-battery-for-starling?_pos=1&_sid=abdaf7d59&_ss=r

                  I don't believe we sell replacement propellers for starling

                  I'm not sure what you mean by mode 2.

                    @tom The modal ai supplied tx comes with self centering throttle joystick. Is it a custom configuration or can I order something similar from getfpv too?

                      @Darshit-Desai I believe we open them up and adjust a couple screws in order to do so. It's something that the commando docs should cover
