      Hi,

I just setup the Sentinel and managed to connect to QGroundControl.

However there seems to be an error when I try to configure the Safety Setup. Is there something wrong with my firmware?

@Dylan-Lau, sorry to hear you're having troubles with your Sentinel. Let's see if we can solve this.
First off, it seems you may be running an older software release. Current version is 2e58365f-5870-4724-99f4-d5265ac3c3b5-image.png
Secondly, what version of QGC have you downloaded?
The reason I ask is that we have seen that if either QGC or Voxl release software is mismatched, it can cause the warning that you're currently seeing.

I would recommend installing the latest QGC if you haven't already done so. Next would be to upgrade to the latest Voxl release.

        Hope that helps

Thanks Adrian for the quick response!

I am using QGC v 4.2.4. Will upgrade to the latest Voxl release then and see how it goes. 😃

          Cheers~

Hi @Adrian-Hidalgo, the same error message persist after the upgrade to the latest Voxl release.

Any ideas? It says missing params: 1:5DLOG_MODE

Is there a parameter file for the sentinel that we need to upload/configure beforehand?

            Cheers~

@Dylan-Lau, hmm which safety are you attempting to load?
Could you provide us a px4 parameter file you have? In QGC, in the parameters, to to tools --> upper right hand corner, select it and the drop down select save to file. If you could send that, we can look through it.

Hi @Adrian-Hidalgo, may I know if there is an update? We thought of some workarounds but since it deals with safety, it is better to implement something with the support team's expertise.

We found https://gitlab.com/voxl-public/flight-core-px4/px4-parameters/-/blob/master/platforms/master/temp1.params and https://gitlab.com/voxl-public/flight-core-px4/px4-parameters/-/tree/master/platforms/v1.13/M500 and so should we use this instead of the default one we have from the system image?

                  Cheers
