      Is there any advice or method to measure the lte strength that my module is able to receive?

        You can use a variety of AT commands in order to read / write to the modem. One command that we often use to query signal strength is AT+QENG="servingcell". You can send this command and read the output to the terminal all in a single command using echo -ne "AT+QENG=\"servingcell\"\r" | busybox microcom -t 1000 /dev/ttyUSB2.

            @tom said in LTE strength:

            busybox microcom -t 1000 /dev/ttyUSB2.

            Hi just one question what does this mean ? : busybox microcom -t 1000 /dev/ttyUSB2

              @Aldo-Castro-Freire microcom is a program that can be used to talk to devices over a serial port (/dev/ttyUSB2). It handles sending AT commands to the modem cleanly.

                  What 5g modem are you attempting to use? The drivers would need to be integrated into the kernel in order for it to be recognized.

                      Check here for Sierra's AT command documentation: https://source.sierrawireless.com/resources/airprime/software/airprime_wpx5xx_wp76xx_wp77xx_at_command_reference/

                        I am not sure but none of the commands are running.
                        Also, it does not have the command AT+QENG for me to check out

                          Can you show an example output of what you are seeing? Also, which modem are you using?
