@Tamas-Pal-0 That sounds like a good question for the PX4 community. We don't have any experience flying with a distance sensor but I'm sure others in the PX4 community do this all the time.

Sensor ID 0x003D is a ToF right?

Seems like you have a Tof and Tracking, but you are trying to use a configuration for tracking and hires (4).

The failsafe is configured in PX4 via QGC. We do not set that explicitly as that before is up to you how to configure.

Please review the PX4 failsafe documentation and understand how it behaves, and then test in safe conditions, before flying again https://docs.px4.io/main/en/config/safety.html

These are drones for developers, and are highly configurable. Please take precaution and test each function before making any assumptions about behavior.

A small observation from my side. While we are flying the quad indoors with compass disabled and using a external optical sensors (in both cases) the qvio recovers itself even after force restarting it using terminal, but the same does not recovers itself outside. For both the cases the exposure and gain of tracking cam was in auto. Can you tell us what might be the issue

@James-Strawson I am having the same error while transitioning from staging to stable branch. The voxl-vision-px4 is enabled but I am not able to make it run again

Because on my voxl2 it seems that neither this configuration nor the 2TOF2 configuration is possible...

In the camera configuration file type of camera is "imx214". Is it correct?

Are the sensors mounted rigidly on the same plane, facing exactly the same direction?

Can you make sure they are both well in focus?

@Chase-Riley, The IO board has the Spektrum plug, so that could be used(MCBL-00005-1) between receiver and IO board.
