      Thanks,
BTW, i've checked it with the help of a team mate and this is the correct FOV orientation for the sensor (not the measurements):
      e05f360a-d319-4564-a99d-b38286d36f7c-image.png

Keep in mind that the Graphics Industry Standard is W x H and you have H x W = 85ºX106º and should be W x H = 85ºx106º (for this position in the picture)
Also, W x H = 85ºx106º vs Horizontal x Vertical = 100ºX80º on the different images can cause confusion with the different orientations and values.

I would suggest to use the same ratings on both pictures.

This is the correct HxV position of the sensor:

      Hi @Eloi ,

Thanks for the feedback, our website is out of date and the the MCBL-00029 should have been included, let me work with our team and we'll get you a cable in the mail to resolve, I'll send an email to your address here.

      Thanks @Eloi for your suggestions.
We are actively working to improve our cables, cable design methods, customer communication on cables, and our image sensor flexes. It's a task we take seriously and want to improve upon.

However, it is doubtful we can use ZIF style connectors for our platforms or be able to use COTS ZIF/FFC ribbon cables. They are the least vibe/shock tolerant of any connector class which require a lot of mechanical backing support to stay latched and engaged (and it must be movable to allow insertion and removal), thus adding weight, complexity, and size to the drone.
All of our image sensor flexes are also high-tech flex circuit assemblies, with power routing, specific ground plane control, EMI shielding, and high-speed impedance control, neither of which can be obtained from COTS FFC parts.
Hope that partly explains why we do not normally use FFC/ZIF parts.

      Thanks!
      Much appreciated answer!
As we are based in the EU, the company have some "bureaucratic" difficulties to buy outside EU... If we don't break, way better XD
By the way, I would love to find some 90 degree angles cables/adaptors! so the cameras can be just on the side of the board and make everything much smaller! (I'll post the same sentence to the "Feature Requests")
      Thanks again!

      @Eloi Hi Eloi,
We only support B key on that design and do not support any plug in adapters like your link.
There is strong certainty that it will not work.
B key vs A/E key is not just a pin block difference, but several electrical differences exist as well (voltage settings and port options).
B key is largely defined for modem devices which run on 1S "vbat" and A/E key devices largely for WiFi or I/O devices which run at 3.3V.

For our application, we will change the huge 12AWG cables and XT60 connectors for short 18AWG cables and XT30 connectors.

@Eloi This is great feedback and thanks so much for sharing with our community. Your experience and willingness to share with us is very much appreciated, so thanks!!! We will definitely NOT delete this post 🙂

I know our Mech Engineers have their nuances with SolidWorks, and I think keeping models in separate directories, and also local hard-drives (not in a cloud location) makes sense since there is a lot of overlap with individual parts and DSS likes fast un-metered access to data as far as I know. Glad you got it all worked out, and let us know if you need anything else.
