@Eric-Katzfey Thank you for the suggestion. but I have some constraints to use a prebuilt drone I have to build a custom one. so as you suggested I can use just a 12-pin adapter. I'm not intending to use any GPS or GNSS module.
do you think that works?

@Eric-Katzfey My apologies I'm really new to drones. I don't know which firmware that I should use for the connector. I already have a TBS crossfire RC with me which I used with voxl-flight. so I thought it would be easy for me to use it with the UART expansion port.
can you please suggest me what will be the best approach. which connector can I use to connect this to J19 port.

I'm working with the VOXL flight. I faced some issues with making it autonomous and using ROS.
So I have decided to migrate to VOXL-2. I have a flight deck, can I swap the stereo cameras and Tracking cameras in voxl-flight to voxl-2. will it be complicated and I also want to use LIDAR and other sensors like Ultrasonic. Does anyone recommend this?

I understood the error that I got, My sole purpose is to fly autonomously without using GPS I want to add LIDAR for mapping as well. so I wanted to know how can I use ros in the voxl-flight. but I find it very hard to develop on the voxl-flight because of the support issues.

I'm new to UAV development and have a ModalAI VOXL Flight Deck. I've set up the hardware (battery, receiver, motors, propellers) and can receive sensor data using ros_to_mpa. However, I'm struggling with the following:
