    Hey all, experiencing an issue.

I had was working with my VOXL2, powered it off for the night. Left the board in same place and in the morning powered it back on without touching anything, but it won't turn on. I'm using the shipped power adaptor and power module. None of the LEDs turn on, totally dead.

If I connect USB only I see a very faint blink from the red LED, I am not able to connect via ADB.

Seems like something was damaged. Any advice for next steps?

    -Thanks,
    Mikhail

      Hi @mikhail-mayers
Pictures here will be very useful. How are you powering the VOXL 2? Battery? Wall Adpater?
      Thanks!

        Hey Vinny,

Sorry, I didn't see that you responded to me so quickly. It's being powered by the shipped wall adapter, nothing fancy. The blue tape on the XT60 is just extra support, no damage or anything like that.

Hi @mikhail-mayers Wow, ok, that is very odd...
Do you have a DMM to measure voltages out of the power module?
You should see 5V +/-0.1V. If not, work your way back to the 12V wall adapter.
I'm thinking most likely the wall adapter is the culprit here as that is a COTS item, whereas the Power Module and the VOXL 2 have been tested by our staff and procedures.

            Hey @vinny

The power module did not did not have a voltage on the 4 pin. I followed the diagram here:
            https://docs.modalai.com/voxl2-power/

The 12V did have power. The issue could be with the power module? I see no signs of damage on the power module.
            Next steps?

Thanks @mikhail-mayers. We'll get you a replacement Power Module. That is pretty clear cut to me. I'll have someone from our Operations team reach out to you to ship a replacement Power Module. Do you happen to know your order #? Thanks!

Thanks @mikhail-mayers I sent a request up. I asked for a return label for your power module when you receive the replacement so I can debug this. Very odd to me since these all go through load and burn-in testing.
Apologies for the disruption to your testing, so I hope we can resolve this quickly for you!
                  Thanks!

                    No worries, it happens.

Thank you for the quick turn around. It was working just fine up until it stopped working. I just hope the VOXL2 is ok.
