Wall power supply for starling 2 max
-
Hello,
I want to power the drone with a wall power supply for bench dev/config purposes (no arming, exercising the ESC, etc.). The main application would be to ensure that there's a camera stream that's captured/worked on by a host dev pc. My questions are:
- is the power supply available for sale on the store is adequate for this purpose.
- the starling 2 max has 2 battery input ports, is there a particular port that the power supply hooks into or will either do?
- The power supply is rated at 3A, is this enough juice for the sensors + the USB wifi dongle? Is there a higher amp bench power supply that you recommend?
- Once on a chosen power supply, is there an existing utility that I can use to ensure arming block when on a power supply?
Thanks for your help!

@Karthik-Bharadwaj You'll need to insert this into the unused XT30 connector: https://www.modalai.com/products/mcbl-00109?_pos=1&_sid=cc83b4694&_ss=r
3A is more then enough to power the drone on the bench, just make sure never to spin motors on wall power! (You can damage the drone and will not be able to RMA it)
In order to disable arming you'd have to look through the PX4 parameters
