I am trying to connect M0169 with VOXL2 using J7U(i e removing the Hires camera) id3 .Do I need an external 5V supply or Please let me know how to connect it and make it work. -

As per that thread, we EOL'd M0169, so support should move to M0171.However, if you already have some M0169's, then this cable which will replace your normal MCBL-00001 will do the trick:
