voxl tof frame rate

hey,
i am trying to change to tof camera framte rate by modifying the "frame_rate" field in the "voxl-camera-server.conf" file.
5 and 15 fps works, but when trying 15 or 30 for example, the camera server won't start.

i saw this forum thread https://forum.modalai.com/topic/137/cannot-change-tof-framerate/2
but the repository mentioned there seems outdated.

any advise how to change the frame-rate?

Hi Ariel

Firstly - I am assuming you restarted the service right? Secondly what is the camera configuration you are using (multiple cameras, all streaming simultaneously, etc?)? The TOF is quite processing hungry so it is quite possible that if you have a lot else going onboard that the system just can't keep up or the buffer is getting filled to quickly prior to processing, etc.

When you do a voxl-inspect-services the voxl-camera-server is up and running I am assuming? If thats the case, whats the CPU consumption, etc.

Also you will see at this link that the recommended FPS for the tof is 5 fps.
