I am currently using the Voxl WiFi for flights for indoors, but the range is somewhat short for me. Would the 4G LTE modem improve the range distance for indoor flights? Or would I need to upgrade my router?

Threre is a video on YouTube from ModalAi about underground inspections/flights using a Modal Link, which was connected to the host PC for the demo. This was 2 years ago though, what is currenlty being used for communication between the drone and the host PC?

@Kris In that video we were using a custom LTE link. That black box is a miniature band 3 LTE base station! But normally LTE uses the base stations of your wireless carrier such as AT&T, Verizon, etc. If you have good signal strength in your indoor location you could use LTE. You could also use Microhard.
