    Hi all,

I'm trying to get this 4k camera streaming video using voxl-streamer with no success.

So far, I've followed the quickstart guide shown here and have been able to flash the system image, set up Wi-Fi, and SSH onto the board. When setting up the above camera using the J2 port and attempting to start voxl-streamer following these steps, I get an error message that says something to the effect of "cannot open pipe."

Something I've noticed is that I'm unable to connect to VOXL using either adb OR ssh if I power up VOXL with the camera already connected. The only way that I can connect to the board is by SSH'ing first, and then hot-plugging the camera afterward. But, then I'm stuck at trying to get a stream with the error described above.

Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? Am I perhaps missing a configuration step?

    Thanks!

Hot plugging the camera is likely to break both the camera and the VOXL

If the board won't boot with the camera plugged in, then it is likely being plugged in backwards. Please make sure to line up the pin 1s and refer to the datasheets at docs.modalai.com

Reversing the connector did it; it was on backwards. Turns out I'm indeed as big of an idiot as I'd suspected. 🙂

        Thanks for the help!
