Using VOXL IO Expander with VOXL 2 Mini?

Was wondering if it was possible to use the VOXL IO expander with the VOXL2 Mini? I'd like to get some additional PWM outputs for a custom vehicle design using the mini and it looks like if I make a custom cable to connect the UART on J4 of the IO expander with one of the UARTs on J19 of the VOXL2 Mini (this is the part I'm a little unclear on, not sure which UART it's meant to connect to, maybe it's supposed to go to J10 on the mini?) that this might work? Any information you could provide would be very welcome, thank you.

Yes, you can connect to one of the UARTs on J19. However, there are only 3 UARTs so you'll have to choose which one to use. The PWM outputs on the IO expander are mainly intended to be used when you have PWM ESCs instead of a ModalAI UART based ESC. In that case you would connect to the ESC UART. If you want to use the IO expander in addition to a ModalAI UART based ESC then you will have to choose between the RC UART or the GNSS UART.
