Hello, I'm reaching out as I've purchases a few VOXL mini ESCs and I've had 2 of the positive main power pads lift. One during soldering and the other was just bumped.

My techs are using Weller Irons and Kester 63/37 Solder, soldering around 600 degrees. As it was 2 in a row with the positive pad I wanted to reach out and see if this was too hot for the ESC.

@Trevor-Redpath , sorry to hear that you had an issue with soldering power leads to the mini ESC. We are working on some instructions / video and will follow up shortly.

@Trevor-Redpath , we prepared a video showing a soldering technique that should avoid damage to the ESC while attaching the power leads. Please watch the video and read the notes, as not everything could be covered in the video.

Please note that this video does not demonstrate our internal production procedures, but it may act as a reasonable representation of the end-user assembly procedure in non-production environment.
