Connecting MAVSDK

I'm trying to perform takeoff and landing of the drone autonomously using the MAVSDK C++ sample code.
However, I'm not able to detect the heartbeat from the drone after successfully making an udp connection to the drone. After checking the source code of voxl-vision-hub, it seems like there's a missing library for MavSDK. So, does voxl-vision-hub support MAVSDK?
