VOXL2 difficulty in connecting to WiFi

Hi,
I am attempting to connect to the WiFi using the Microhard Add-on board and the ALFA wifi dongle connected to the board using the JST USBA adapter. However, when I do
voxl-wifi station <SSID> <Password>. Nothing happens. No IP address is being seen underwlan0when I doifconfig. I made sure the SSID and password are correct. Is this a known issue recently cause I don't remember having this much trouble before. This is a brand new VOXL2 board running 0.9.5. -

Sorry for the lag, no this isn't a known issue with WiFi, are you still experiencing issues with this?

Yep. It seems to be random. We tried different WiFi dongles and while it would fix the issue temporarily. It would cause issues a few days later.
@rohitpillai Maybe use directly the name of the AP instead of the SSID?

I found out that the WiFi dongles were broken which is what was causing the issue
