Thanks for your response. We did not consider to add a spacer, but it is a good idea.
Yes, I would like to receive the lens holder part number, so let me know when you found it.

We use the hires IMX412 and IMX664 sensors. When using an 8mm lens, the lens mount is too short. With the IMX412, the lens fits into the mount by only about 1 mm, and with the IMX664 even less, so it cannot be focussed. Could you please indicate which lens mounts are used on both sensors so that we can purchase and replace them ourselves? And will it be possible in the future to order them with a lens mount that has a higher fitting?
Hope you can help us with this. Thanks!
@modaltb,
Is there any news regarding this issue? Are you able to reproduce this phenomenon?
Thanks for your message! In the meantime we also start using the snapshot function which gave us 4000x3000, however, there we run into this issue: https://forum.modalai.com/topic/2546/some-issues-with-voxl-camera-server-1-6-2
Do you know if this is issue is still there in your latest version? if not, we are absolutely up for a pre-release.
Kind regards,
Gerhold
Thanks for the update. Yes, let us know when there is a pre-release.
Hi @modaltb ,
Is there any news regarding resolution of the IMX412? Can we expect support for 12MP soon?

Hi,
At this moment we use an IMX412 on Voxl2 on 4K resolution. We would like to use it on full resolution (12MP). Will 12MP be supported in the near future?
Kind regards,

Hello,
We use voxl 2 and we want to store images from hires camera. Now we read the pipe and write the images using openCV function. We expect that it could be easier and faster using the snapshot function, but that does not work. Should it work? Or is this function not supported yet?
Kind regards,
Gerhold ten Voorde
Ok, we will find out if we can do it ourselves, or just find another m9 lens.
Thanks! Would it be an option to order the imx214 without lens mount? To make it easier for us to put an m12 mount on it?
Yes, we have very good experience with imx412 and will use them, but need a smaller one as well.
Hi,
We are using the imx214 sensor. However, we can't get very good image quality out of it. The small version (8x8x5.8) seems blurry on pixel level and the (10x10x16) version has quite a lot lens distortion.
We were wondering what the quality would be with another lens, so we assembled an m12 lens mount on this sensor, see picture. We used a 4mm lens and this gave better quality (comparable with imx377 which we used before).

Is there an option that the imx214 will be delivered with an m12 mount? Or do you have other ideas to improve image quality?
Kind regards,
Gerhold ten Voorde
