VOXL Virtual Machine?

Is there a way to run the Yocto Jethro Linux with VOXL's software on virtualbox?
I tried downloading the system image and setting things up with VirtualBox, but I did not get very far. Wondered if anyone on here knew of a way to get this done

Similar idea (but using containers, which you can think a lighter weight VM, you can network, etc), is using Docker, which is how we develop off target/

This is built (roughly) from the rootfs that is the output of our Yocto build.
