LTE or 5G carrier USB Mode
-
It looked like there used to be a way (or maybe a different module) to run the LTE carrier board in "USB mode". Is that still something that exists and are there directions for doing so?
Thanks!

Hi @Matthew-Wellner
Can you please clarify your question or concern?
All of our modem boards (4G and 5G) have always been USB based. It was only our Microhard boards that on earlier builds had a LAN or USB interface before USB was fully functioning from Microhard on all radio options. We made that switch to USB only about 2 years ago.
Thanks!

@Vinny - I apologize for not seeing your response until now! I was wondering whether or not I could use the LTE carrier board attached to USB, but without being connected using the VOXL2's main connector. I thought there was some reference to using the carrier board like this in some older documentation, but I'm guessing it isn't possible with the current hardware.

Hi @Matthew-Wellner
Yes, we sell some modem products as "stand-alone" which can be connected to any USB host.
We have not offered our popular M0090 5G modem in that mode, but we have offered it for the older Microhard and Sierra 4G modules, but right now we only offer it on Microhard:
