Cannot connect to pDDL1800 on USB Carrier Board on Mac laptop

Hello -- I purchased a Microhard pDDL1800 modem and USB Carrier Board, but I can't get the Board to create a network interface when plugged into my Mac via USB.
When I plug into an Ubuntu 22.04 desktop, I see the interface created and I can hit the Microhard settings page.
Is there are separate MacOS driver I can use to get it to work there? I travel often so being tied to desktop development would be an issue for me.
