      Hi ModalAI Team,

Sorry if this was already answered somewhere. I searched a solution in the forum but couldn't find any topics. So, I wanted to create a new one.

After working on VOXL m500 for some minutes, all the motors start buzzing like a beacon and rotating back and forth alike step motor. I don't know why this happens and how I can stop this issue.

Currently, I take off/on the LiPo battery to stop buzzing. or when connected the QCS, I reboot.

Is the sound telling me something?
      How can I fix that?

      thank you in advance!

        Hi @Voxlady ,

You are talking about the audible beep/sound correct?

If this is the case, it's a bit of a "feature" with PX4, namely telling you that you have been on battery power for some time and haven't armed yet (at least this is what I think it means).

If you are doing benchtop development and want to disable the beeping, you can change the SYS_AUTOSTART parameter through QGC to 0. This disables the output (and also the airframe type so you can't fly).

The beeping sound is actually generated by the motors (which I think is cool, but annoying for sure!)

          Hi @modaltb ,

Thank you for your message. Yes, it was the case and I am doing a benchtop development. After changing to 0, they don't beep anymore. So, I can work in peace. :))
