Referring to the "Available Downloads" page, I see the latest (by date) platform is labeled 0.9; where the previous (by date) is 3.8...
      Strange numbering!!??
Can I assume that voxl_platform_0.9.tar.gz is an upgrade from voxl_platform_3.8.0-0.7.tar?

        Hi,

There's always been some confusion here both internally at modalai and clearly externally. Our releases used to be named with a pair of version numbers referencing the system image version (3.8.0 in your example) and the SDK version (0.7 in your example) hence the 3.8.0-0.7. As the system images are improved mostly to support new features that appear in the SDK, and to try to help with this confusion, we've decided to just version our releases with the SDK version in the future. So the latest public release is 0.9 (improved from 0.7 in that last public package), which is built on system image 4.0.0 (improved from 3.8.0 in the last release).

The goal is that this causes less confusion going forward (especially now that we support multiple platforms whose system images have different versions), though clearly it'll cause a bit more in the interim.
