Hi there, we are using the VOXL2 in ~34 Degrees Celcius / 90+ fahrenheit ambient temperature, is there a cooling solution we can use to avoid the CPU overheating? We see the CPU Overheat warning using voxl-inspect-cpu when running our own code or just running voxl-calibrate-camera (nothing else) which results in CPU throttling.

    Thanks!

      Hi @Robert-Hewitt ,

This is what we use when we build the VOXL2 into some assemblies, such as the Sentinel reference drone. It can connect to VOXL2 J2. We can't control it yet so it's just on, but we plan on offering control.

The PN direct is MC25060V1-000U-A99 and needs SHR-02V-S connector on there, you could likely find it online cheaper, we offer it in our shop for convenience.

It is normal for the CPU to throttle. It cannot run full speed indefinitely without turning down. It is by design and not necessarily a problem unless you need to do more.

Any airflow will help though reduce thermal load so you can get more performance out of the system
