      Hello,

We are working on a project that involves mounting an ultra-lightweight VOXL 2 package on a micro aerial vehicle. Every gram matters, and we are hoping to purchase the lightest components possible to make it work. So far, we have a VOXL 2, a 5G modem add on, a USB WiFi add on, and the Power Module V3. We noticed immediately that this Power Module is much larger than the one mounted on the Starling V1 that we have. It also has two large LiPo connection cables and comes with a long connector to attach to the VOXL 2 board. Overall, this seems to drive up the weight by at least 20g. Is it possible to purchase the Power Module configuration that comes on the Starling V1? We only need a single, short mini LiPo connector soldered on, and a short VOXL 2 board connection cable. If this is not possible, do you have any other suggestions on how we should proceed? We want to keep the package under 90g, ideally under 80g. We have found a 2S battery that is 35g which should power the VOXL 2, so we have 45-55g to work with realistically.

      Thanks for your help.

@Mihir-Bala The APM PCB is identical, you are likely referring to the PCBs

If you want the lights solution possible, you should use the Mini 4-in-1 ESC which has a 5V regulator built in to power VOXL 2
