I am planning a lightweight autonomous indoor/outdoor drone based on the regular Starling 2 architecture, with a target takeoff weight below 300 g.
Since I cannot currently find the regular Starling 2 available as a complete drone in the ModalAI store, I am considering building the system from the available replacement parts.
Could you please clarify exactly what is included in the “D0014 Powertrain” replacement part listed for $619.99?
In particular, does it include:
- The 3 mm Starling 2 carbon-fiber frame
- Four M10001231 1503 / 2900 kV motors
- The M0129 VOXL ESC Mini 4-in-1 with integrated power module
- Motor wiring and connectors
- 4726FM propellers and propeller clips
- Landing skids
- Plastic mounting parts
- Screws and other mounting hardware
- The 2S battery or battery holder
I would also appreciate clarification on the following points:
- Is the D0014 Powertrain currently available and can it be shipped to Germany?
- What is the total weight of the complete D0014 Powertrain?
- Is it mechanically compatible with the current VOXL 2 MDK-M0154-1-00 and the M0173 C26 camera configuration?
- Are all required camera flex cables and mounting parts included with the M0173 C26 kit, or must any of them be ordered separately?
- Can a complete regular Starling 2 with the C26 camera configuration still be purchased directly from ModalAI upon request?
I have not purchased the hardware yet, so there are no software versions or logs to provide. This is a pre-purchase question intended to ensure that I order all required parts and avoid duplicate components.
