    @Vinny said in Cable material/mass:

    If you have physical samples of them (I do not have all of them in my possession), your best best is just to weigh them with your tools so you know you can get to your level of accuracy you need.

    For example, we started providing weight, in grams, of our normal cables, but that measurement is only accurate to ~+/-0.5 grams. So, if you need more accuracy, sometimes you are better taking your own measurements. Sorry to push this on you, but it is the best path since only you know how accurate you need.

    Thanks Vinny

    @Vinny - I'm trying to do a mass roll up for my system, and wasn't sure how the cables are being reported- the values for mass I have right now must have been from internal estimates or discussions rather than posted values. Maybe a more clear question is: what is the mass for these components?

    1. Flex cable MFPC-M0010
    2. Flex cable MPFC-M0008
    3. M0024 107 deg (including gold ribbon cable and connector)
    4. M0024 146deg (including gold ribbon cable and connector)
    5. M0014 (including gold ribbon cable and connector)
    6. M0072 (including gold ribbon cable and connector)

    Thanks for your help on the material question.

    Hello, I'm interested in the material/mass of these products:

    Flex cable MFPC-M0010
    Flex cable MPFC-M0008

    Does the cable attached to the M0072, M0014, or M0024 unit have the same material?

    Also, when you report the mass of one of those units, I assume the "gold" ribbon cable and connector they come with are included in that mass?

    Thanks so much,

    -Laura
