Can the ToF sensor differentiate between out of range and no information ?
-
For example, ZED-X stereo cameras have +inf, -inf, and NaN in their depth image values to indicate too far, too close, and no information respectively.
Differentiating between "too far" and "no information" is pretty important to map out empty areas. Too far means the space up to the sensing range is empty while "no information" simply does not convey anything.
Thank you !
