Image Sensor 4k High-resolution Dies Sliently on VOXL2
-
Has anyone encountered the same issue that 4k High-resolution Image Sensor running on VOXL2 stops publishing frames after a minute or so? The issue is exacerbated under temperatures exceeding 90 F. The issue can be mitigated under lower fps. Seems like a heat and/memory leak issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The kernel will start shutting off processes at 90 F
What version of software are you using, and how are you streaming the images? If you use SDK 1.0 and the h265 interface, 4k should be minimal thermal impact

Did you mean to write 90-C Chad in your response? -
@Wei-Cui-0 I am facing similar issue with tracking camera where my CPU temperature was raising above 95 degrees and voxl-camera-server is shutting down which leads to crash while operating flight in VIO mode.
@Chad-Sweet Can you please confirm this?

@Chad-Sweet Thanks Chad. We have SDK 0.8 onboard. We are not streaming videos. The issue occurs more frequently in the field, where the temperature exceeds 90 F in the summer.
