Tips on how to control using Python?

Hi all,
I recently purchased the PX4 Autonomy Developer Kit and wanted to know if anyone has any resources or tips they could give me on how to control the drone with python? I would like to be able to control it using code "set take of/landing point, do a set trajectory on Qground control, or simply fly up rotate 360 and come back down". Any help would greatly be appreciated.
