RE: Need Assistance Connecting Pure Thermal Mini 2 Pro to Sentinel
@Vinny I think there has been a misunderstanding I need to connect the camera while also having the wifi adapter plugged in, are you saying there is no way to utilise the uart connector on the VOXL2 USB3.0 / UART expansion Adapter, and the only board that is currently on offer with more than one usb connector is the 5g modem?

RE: Need Assistance Connecting Pure Thermal Mini 2 Pro to Sentinel
@Vinny I've received the parts, and not think I may be missing some pieces, the sentinel comes with the VOXL 2 USB board, but there isn't anyway to connect both these board, I'm assuming the uart on 3.0 can't be used to connect the camera or wifi? or do I need a specific cable for connecting the pure thermal to the uart?
apologies I'm a software man not a hardware man.

Need Assistance Connecting Pure Thermal Mini 2 Pro to Sentinel
Hello,
I recently procured a Pure Thermal Mini 2 Pro (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/17544) and attempted to connect it using a JST to USB cable via a USB A to USB C adapter. The setup worked flawlessly when I tested it on another device.
However, when trying to connect via the ADB port using the same cable configuration, I've been unsuccessful. I stumbled upon this thread discussing a similar issue, and it seems that this bug might still be unresolved.
I'm curious about the potential solutions.
- Do I require any additional equipment? (if so what?)
- is there an alternate port on the Sentinel that I could utilize?
- A workaround for the ADB port would be ideal.
Upon reviewing the specifications, I noticed there doesn't appear to be an unused USB or JST port that could potentially accommodate the thermal camera.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

RE: Am I missing prop washers
@Adrian-Hidalgo thank you for this thorough answer, really useful we went with the conical nuts initially i through we had screwed them on and as we tested take off one of them came of along with a prop, no damage just couldn't find it anywhere. Went with the other nuts and managed to get a few seconds of flight before the weather turned down.
Practice and experience will be required, I suspect we may need additional props/screws do you have links to where we may obtain these?

Am I missing prop washers
Tomorrow I was hoping to take the Sentinel out for its first flight, I was following the quick start video that made a strong emphasis on washers on each side of the prob.
On the underside of the drone a zip lock bag was there with a set of screws, (I'm not sure what these are for but there are four of each)
On closer inspection I noticed there was a washer present on the motor however this doesn't seem to fit snuggly in the prop.
I have included a photo of the parts (making a point of being overly cautious here)
Am I missing washers if so could you let me know where I can source some, if not can you instruct me on the process?

RE: Unable to connect to QGroundControl
@modaltb Thanks for this, managed to just reinstall a few packaged from there, bit nervous to go the factory reset, we've had the drone for a while now but we are going to try a first flight soon. seems okay.

RE: Unable to connect to QGroundControl
@modaltb Think thats my best option, no idea what's happened here mind, is there not a factory rest option?

Unable to connect to QGroundControl
I have been trying to connect to QGC,
- I attepted to have the drone and the Ground Station connected via AP
- I have had both drone and GS connected to the same network via station
neither worked, I then came accross the youtube video "VOXL 2 - PX4 to QGroundControl Quickstart". I got as far as running
voxl-configure-vision-px4
when I get a command not found, more curiously it doesn't seem to be appear in my services list.Any ideas? On windows.
