I see 6 cm and 14.5 cm MIPI extension cables from ModalAI. MIPI is pushing lots of data so i expect these may be approaching the max cable length..

i'm not sure all the specifications of the VOXL MIPI cameras/cables, but there are other discussions on the order of 100's of cm for CSI interfaces

what is the max length for VOXL cameras? Probably it is different for each camera, so let's say for the TOF. Would you expect I could chain two 14.5 cm extension cables together to get the TOF camera 29 cm away from the VOXL?

I've also been seeing this behaviour (system img 3.3) when using TOF - particularly when other cameras are also enabled (via voxl-configure-cameras)

Like @danielh's first picture, i have seen error code -19 and also 4 and 2, all from TOF camera - these seem to be from mmqcamera / hal3 camera manager -- is there any documentation on what these error codes correspond to?

I'll also note that i had neither fan nor heat sink and noticed a potential correlation with the error and high cpu temps

Got it. The changes are now persisting through reboots - not sure why it didn't the first time (i did adb reboot), but seems to be stably working now.

The hires cam is rotated 90 deg, but based on https://forum.modalai.com/topic/305/camera-orientation-parameter I guess this is due to the ribbon cable location and cannot be changed in hardware?

Also, it seems that changes to /system/etc/camera/camera_config.xml are not persistent and only affect the next boot - after the reboot the stanza was missing, and after another reboot the camera was no longer working.

I have a Qualcomm Flight Pro that i have flashed with the latest 3.3.0 system image. Stereo and tracking (ov7251) cameras are working great using the voxl-camera-server and pipe architecture.

After using voxl-configure-cameras to select "8 Hires Only", hires imx214 5.8mm on J2 does not work (I think this is same as on QFPro?).

hires imx214 10mm purchased with a voxl flight does work (connecting to J2).

I don't have another QFPro on me atm, but will try another imx214 5.8mm later this week. But maybe there are other tests I should run / am missing something obvious?

Hi, I compiled libevent_2.1.12 and tmux 3.2a from source in the voxl-emulator docker and packed them both into a single .ipk. I did not do anything special here. Once installed on the voxl, i see
