Stream from Gimbal freezes in 2 seconds

What are you using for your wireless connection? WiFi or Microhard? And can you see the stream in QGC for 1 or 2 seconds or not at all?

@Eric-Katzfey QGC is not at all, and I am using microhard for the wirelesss connection which has been working fine for the rtsp cameras

I would switch to a USB Ethernet dongle to do your debugging. Then you don't have to worry about wireless connectivity. Then I would recommend trying to get it working with QGC. Later versions of QGC may not work on certain versions of OS. What OS / version are you using to host QGC?

@Eric-Katzfey The gimbal camera I have was the default that came with the drone when I purchased it, I believe its some version of Arducam? I'll download your version of QGC and try testing with that

@Daniel-Ryu The other thing you can do is use the tcpdump command on Voxl to verify that you can see the video packets being sent from ffmpeg. Another idea is to have dmesh -wH open in another session to see if the kernel reports any issues.
