Has anybody ever applied LUKS (or anything similar) to the VOXL2? Any advice/tips/tricks? FDE is ideal, but we can likely get away with just a volume or directory. Our team has experience applying it to other platforms but just wanted to check in before we start.

Also, do you see any reason the Fastboot method may not work for recovering the device (I understand that data will be lost) if an encryption attempt is unsuccessful, the key is lost, etc?

Any experience conformal coating the VOXL2? I'd be interested in any of the following:

1. Being able to purchase some that have already been coated
2. Getting contact info for any vendors you may have worked with to have this done previously.
3. If you have a drawing available that you can share so that I can work with a vendor directly to have it applied.

My team has been using the VOXL2 and having great results for a standard UAS application. Recently, we've been discussing ideas for some new projects and unique ways that we could incorporate the VOXL2. From looking over the documentation, there's a ton of potential with all the different interfaces that are available on the board to board connectors. However, without spinning a custom PCB it seems like it would be difficult to access most of these since a lot are not accessible with the breakout boards in your catalog.

Is there anything that you have available that can be used to access the signals via standard connectors for benchtop development and prototyping? I'm imagining something similar to the IO boards for Raspberry Pi compute modules.

If not, is this something that your team has considered?

@modaltb Did you ever have any luck resolving the USB-C host issue for the VOXL2? Has an update been released that includes this fix?
