    • Need help with what to buy

      Dear ModalAI Team,

I currently have the VOXL 2 Development Kit (MDK-M0054-1-01) along with the following accessories:

      • Power Supply – 12V 3A (MPS-00005-1, XT60)

      • USB Expansion Board (M0017) with JST-to-USB Cable (MCBL-00009-1), and Ethernet or Wi-Fi dongle

      • Tracking Camera (MSU-M0014)

      • Stereo Sensor Pair (MSU-M0015)

So far, I’ve been able to access the VOXL 2 via ADB. My goal is to use VOXL 2 to fly my custom-built drone, with the following objectives:

      • Indoor manual flight using an RC transmitter

      • Outdoor autonomous flight via GPS waypoint missions (using PX4 or ArduPilot)

      • Wireless video streaming to my laptop from both the tracking and stereo cameras

      • Integration of time-of-flight sensors for obstacle avoidance

I also have the following equipment:

      • Radiomaster Zorro ELRS Transmitter and ELRS Receiver

      • 4 × PWM ESCs

      • NEO-M8N GPS Module (Readytosky)

At this point, I believe that buying the VOXL 2 I/O Expansion Board Dev Kit (MDK-M0065-02), which includes the host UART, RC cables, and PWM breakout, should allow me to connect all necessary peripherals necessary for my objectives.

Could you please confirm whether this is sufficient for my use case, or if additional ModalAI hardware is recommended?

      Thank you for your support.

      Best regards,
      Gav
