@Tamas-Pal-0 That's a fantastic question. We haven't tested that feature just yet. We will get back to you once we find out.

@Tamas-Pal-0 Once we test its functionality, you may have some options.
While we don't have the exact cable, we have some that can give you a better idea. We do have a GPS working with a Spektrum receiver such as this:
VOXL 2 GPS / Mag / RC Module

We just got these cables in MCBL-00061-1 VOXL 2 to VOXL 2 I/O
You may be able to make your own cable by buying MCBL-00061-1 and a spare GPS, de-pinning the GPS cables and then re-seating the pins in the appropriate location in the 12 pin MCBL-00061-1

@Adrian-Hidalgo Quick followup Adrian on this exact question. I'm curious what your hardware setup was for this test you did where you confirmed both can work. There's the "VOXL2 to VOXL2 IO UART Cable" (MCBL-00061-1) if you want to use the PX4IO and the "VOXL 2 GPS / Magnetometer / RC / Bind Module" (MDK-M0094-2-01) if you want to use GPS. It appears that the Spektrum related cabling is in the same positions on the MDK-M0094-2-01 as the UART for the PX4IO? Is there a cable that does GPS + PX4IO UART by chance? Thanks!

@Adrian-Hidalgo If I want to use both GPS and VIO together for navigation in both indoor (no GPS lock) and outdoor scenario do I have to change any px4 parameter or any other configuration file ?

@JoeC Good question! We custom made this cable by taking MDK-M0094-2-01(which has a 12 pin JST GHR connector) and de-pinning the Spektrum receiver from it. Then we grabbed MCBL-00061-1 and inserted it into the 12 pin connector of the MDK-M0094-2-01, where the Spektrum was previously. For testing we used a Voxl2 FD and a Sentinel to verify connectivity. Hope that helps

@Adrian-Hidalgo I am trying to go into position mode with gps only in outdoor. Although I am getting gps lock I am not able to go into position mode.

What is the problem here ? How to fix this ? And how to use GPS as well as VIO at the same time ?

@Adrian-Hidalgo did you re-pin the Spektrum Receiver somewhere? Should it be re-pinned and plugged into the Spektrum Port on the IO Board? In my configuration I am using the IO board, Spektrum receiver, and GPS. Thanks in advance!

@Chase-Riley, The IO board has the Spektrum plug, so that could be used(MCBL-00005-1) between receiver and IO board.
