ROS2 MicroDDS-Agent Parameter Change in PX4

Hi , I am curious if anyone able to provide some guidance on how to change a PX4 parameter through a ROS2 node using MicroDDS. I am running foxy on VOXL 2 and I am trying to publish the updated parameter to VehicleCommand.msg topic but no luck in getting it to work. Has anyone else been able to do something similar? Would you recommend using MAVROS as an alternative for something like this?
