VOXL Cam precision landing capability

Hi, I am interested in incorporating the VOXL CAM TOF kit into my drone for GPS denied navigation. Is the Voxl cam capable of precision landing indoors on its own. I seen a YouTube video of that being performed by your m500 drone with an apriltag, but I am wondering what other sensors were used or are needed to make that happen with ardupilot and a custom drone using a different flight controller. CUAV X7 in my case.
I am curious if your m500 drone relies only on the VOXL cam for its navigation and range finding altitude or if it has a Downwad facing LiDAR altimeter as well or some other downward facing LiDAR or vision to be able to read the apriltag and land there or at a specified location.
